The Château de Franc is a property that dates back to the 1400s. it was in the mid-1980s that two childhood friends- Dominique Hebrard, ex-co-owner of Château Cheval Blanc, and Hubert De Boüard, co-owner of château Angelus - fell in love with this property and decided to join in together as co-owners. Totally restoring the property and winery this jewel of the tiny Franc, Cotes de Bordeaux appellation on the right bank of the Gironde, has nearly 90 acres of vineyards located on the highest hills in the region. With a dynamic team in place who manage this property with passion and enthusiasm, the wines truly stand out and over-achieve.

Forbes Magazine scored this 97 points and said  "A 70/20/10 blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
